Eyeliners. If you want a more natural look, then go for a brown, grey or even navy rather than a harsh black.
Also, undereye concealer as well as a blemish concealer.
What do you think? Answer below!
Keep it simple if you are just starting out. You don’t want to look like a clown. I would not use foundation if you have alot of freckles or pimples, it only makes them stand out more and makes your skin look “heavy” Concealer should only be used if u have heavy under-eye circles. You do not have to spend a fortune to look pretty and fresh. Eye shadow will be determined by your skin tone, hair color, eye colort etc… if your a redhead, pinker tones. Brunettes, browner tones, blondes, blue-grey tones..usually just a basic rule of thumb…
Stay away from dark lip color (at your age it will make you look either morbid or cheap)
A little bit of blush (if you’re very fair) just on your cheek bones- lightly.
Personally, I prefer “soft lips” brand or “blistex silk & shine” TRUST ME when I say this, boys don’t care for “waxy or lipstick-heavy” lips on a girl. Boys your age like a little bit of flavor when they kiss you, and they want to kiss soft healthy lips. Stay away from “chapstick, carmex, anything heavy, waxy or with a medicine-like scent to it. lipsmackers has a line of flavored/scented lip glosses that are perfect for your age, but remember- less it more. If you coat too much on, ur going to look ridiculous. You don’t want to be so shiny that ur lips look heavy and saturated. Thats a turn-off. Bronzer is complicated. You really should go to the mall and go to the Estee’ Lauder, Lancome’ or Clinique make up counter and ask them to help you pick out what would look best for your skin tone. That is where I would start first, if it were me. I understand you are on a budget, so you don’t have to BUY anything they pick out for you, its really to just get an idea of which shades to go with. I can tell you that all I used when I was a young teen was mascara, eye lash curler for my lashes, a bit of blush for my cheek bones, and a touch of flavored lip gloss. That’s it- I never had a problem getting noticed by the boys. 😉 as far as inexpensive brands go, I personally prefer Maybelline, for eyes/cheeks & Loreal for foundation/face powder. Lips- see above brands… Stay away from Revlon, its crap! Good luck to you!
keep it simple, & products from teh drug store are good to start with.
I would try buying the smaller products if its offered in two sizes.
When i started my makeup kit i bought, mostly eyeshadow (maybe a small palette. I have a small one with like 30 colours), blush, lip products, blush, mascara, eyeliner.
I would say, eyeshadow, mascara, lip products, eyeliner, mascara are musts to begin with!
E.L.F (available online at eyeslipsface.com and in stores at Target) is awesome! I use drugstore as well as high end makeup and I was very skeptical about ELF at first because it is sooo cheap (majority of their products range between $ 1-$ 5!!!) but I have bought lip balm, bronzer, blush, and brushes of theirs that are very good quality and you can buy kits online anytime and at Target near the holidays.
Some more advice I have for you is to go to youtube and find reviews of products you are interested in and get other peoples opinion and experiences with products before you spend your money on anything. I do this with almost any product I purchase, INCLUDING the super inexpensive ELF products because I just do not like to waste money. People will often times give their opinions of products, usually show you what the product looks like on them, and often give advice on how to use products. Example, say you want to know the inside scoop on ELF bronzers, go to youtube and search “ELF bronzer reviews.”
Hope this helps!

I’d rather not mess with foundations since I have pretty okay skin.
I’ve been wearing makeup for maybe 8 months now. This is what I’ve done-
First I started wearing mascara. I don’t use a ton, brush through it so there’s no clumps, and curl it sometimes.
Then I wore concealer when needed. (actually I have for a while, but my skin is very good so I usually just wear it under my eyes sometimes.)
Next I’ve started wearing eyeshadow some days. I have blue eyes, so I wear a light pink or light brown when I do. (unless it’s the weekend, then I experiment and if it looks good I might wear it.)
I don’t wear lip gloss except on weekends, but that’s only because I play the flute and it gets all sticky. I totally would wear it normally if not for that!
So basically-
1. A concealer (if your prone to acne get oil free)- $ 3-6?
2. A mascara (waterproof if you think you need it but it takes special remover and is really hard to get off if you mess up. Sometimes I mess up a little, I can just wipe it off. Not with waterproof, you have to remove the whole thing and start over)- $ 4-9
3. Eyeshadow- get a pallete of 3-4 colors. You want lighter colors. Google what colors to wear for your eye color, and look for shades like those or even one designed for your color eyes!- $ 3-8?
4. Lip gloss or balm- look for a light pink, light, non sticky gloss with a little shine but not overly sparkly. -$ no idea!
You cannot possibly get everything you listed above for only 20 bucks…Here are my suggestions anyways.

Eyeshadow: NYX Nude on Nude palette (found at Ulta), Physician’s Formula Nude palette, Maybelline quads
Mascara: Maybelline One by One, CoverGirl Lashblast, Maybelline Falsies, Loreal Voluminous, Rimmel London Sexy Curves

Lipgloss: NYX and Revlon

I suggest trying out Eshiko from Eshiko.com
its a translucent silica crystals and its really the best face powder Ive ever tried. It makes your pores invisible and skin smooth and radiant. You know once you brush it on your skin it, it instantly glows and blurs out light leading to an illusion of flawless and perfect skin.
I have tried almost every powder that you can try…. I think Eshiko is the best, its better than MUFE HD 100x
its a japanese nanotechnology face powder so its a little bit expensive. But you can get it for free, they have 60 day money back and all you have to say is that your not happy with the product and they will refund you full purchase. So i suggest buy then after 30 or so days, tell them you want a refund.
hope it helps!
